Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 7, 2026 Operator: ButtonPrintMaker.com

1. Operator and contact details

The operator of the ButtonPrintMaker.com service (the "Service" or "we") is:

Swinging Dogs s.r.o. Company ID (IČO): 24825671 VAT ID (DIČ): CZ24825671 (EU VAT registered) Registered office: Za Mototechnou 939/23, 155 00 Prague 13, Czech Republic General contact: info@swingingdogs.com Privacy inquiries: info@swingingdogs.com

In this Privacy Policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator above; "you" refers to a user of the Service (a website visitor or customer).

The Service is a purely digital tool – an online editor for designing print sheets of pin buttons and magnets in 20, 25, 32 and 58 mm sizes, in A4 or Letter format (300 DPI). Designs are created directly in the user's browser; the output is a printable PDF file. We do not deliver any physical goods and customers arrange the actual printing themselves.

2. Personal data we process

In connection with the operation of the Service we process, in particular, the following categories of personal data:

  • Account data: e-mail address and, where applicable, your name, sign-in identifier and account settings.
  • Billing data: for businesses, company name and tax identification numbers (entered via the payment gateway).
  • Payment and subscription data: transaction identifier, selected plan ("24 Hours", "Monthly", "Yearly"), amount, currency, payment status, next renewal date, expiry of the 24h access. We do not store card numbers; they are handled by Stripe.
  • Content you create in the editor: your designs, uploaded images and metadata about your projects (titles, dates, sheet parameters). Designs are primarily processed in the browser; if you save them to your account, they are also stored on our servers.
  • Usage data: IP address, browser and operating system type, approximate location, time of visit, pages visited, session data and data from strictly necessary cookies.
  • Communications: the content of messages you send us (e-mail, contact form).

3. How we collect data

We collect personal data:

  • from forms and inputs you fill in yourself (registration, sign-in, order, contact form);
  • from the content you upload or create in the editor;
  • automatically through strictly necessary cookies and application logs (security, abuse prevention, saving work in progress, verification of active "Clean printing" access);
  • from the Stripe payment gateway, to the extent necessary to process the payment, issue an invoice and manage subscriptions.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel or any other third-party marketing or remarketing trackers. If we deploy them in the future, we will update this policy and obtain your consent where required.

4. Purposes and legal bases of processing

We process your personal data only for purposes for which we have a valid legal basis under Article 6 of the GDPR:

5. Recipients of personal data

We share personal data only to the extent necessary, with trusted partners acting as processors:

  • Stripe, Inc. (USA) – payment and billing data processing and subscription management;
  • Convex, Inc. (USA) – the Convex.dev database and backend platform on which user accounts, projects, subscription state and Service metadata are stored;
  • hosting / CDN provider for the website and the file storage used by the editor;
  • transactional e-mail providers (e.g. for sign-in links, invoices, subscription renewal notices);
  • public authorities where required by law.

We never sell your personal data to third parties and we do not pass it on for marketing purposes of others.

6. Transfers outside the EU / EEA

Because we use cloud services (in particular Convex.dev and Stripe), data may be stored and processed on servers outside the EU/EEA, anywhere in the world where these providers operate their infrastructure (typically the USA).

Such transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) under Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914, or by an adequacy decision (e.g. the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) where the recipient is certified.

7. Retention periods

  • Payment and billing data: for the period required by accounting and tax legislation (typically 10 years).
  • User account, project and subscription data: for the duration of the account. After the account is deleted, the data is deleted or anonymised within at most 90 days, unless retention is required to comply with a legal obligation (e.g. accounting documents).
  • Customer support data: for the period strictly necessary, no more than 3 years from the last communication.
  • Application and security logs: typically 6–12 months.

After these periods we delete or anonymise the data.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

The Website uses only strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies (e.g. localStorage) without which the Service could not function — sign-in, verification of active "Clean printing" access, saving work in progress in the editor and abuse protection. These cookies do not require consent under Section 89 of Act No. 127/2005 Coll. and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We do not use marketing, advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If this changes in the future, we will add a cookie banner to obtain consent and update this policy.

9. Your rights

As a data subject under the GDPR you have the right:

  • of access to your personal data;
  • to rectification of inaccurate data;
  • to erasure ("right to be forgotten");
  • to restriction of processing;
  • to data portability;
  • to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in the Czech Republic the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).

You can exercise your rights by writing to info@swingingdogs.com. We will respond no later than within 30 days.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS), access control to the Convex database, separation of production and development environments, regular backups, security updates and logging. No transmission of data is, however, 100 % secure, and we regularly review our security level.

11. Children's privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly process personal data of children. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it without undue delay.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, in particular in response to changes in legislation or to the Service. The current version is always available on the Website with a stated effective date. We will inform you about material changes by e-mail or via a notice in the Service.
